Back to School Style

My first H&M Kids Clothing Experience

We have the first week of school 2017 on the books and it went so well.  I think my two little ladies love sharing the halls of the same elementary school and it has been so helpful having an older, and wiser sibling show my kindergartner the ropes.

Since we are through the first week, I thought I would blog about the outfits we sported in the first fun days of school.  This year we shopped a little different and picked up a lot at the H&M sale online.  We usually head out the mall and pick out outfits, but this was actually a lot of fun and we got so many more options  with the same budget. My girls all have such unique and different opinions on what they want to wear.  Sometimes I can’t hand down all the outfits because someone just doesn’t have the same style.  It’s nice to shop savvy and have everyone happy. I thought I would share some of the finds since the sale at H&M is still going on.

This was our first day of school look, both my girls agreed on these adorable bow dresses and they were only $4.99!! There are a lot of pattern options for this cute style.

My oldest had PE the second day of school and went with a more casual choice.  the graphic-tees are super cute but they did shrink quite a bit the first wash.  Since my girls are skinny minis, it wasn’t too much of an issue, but keep that in mind.  For $2, I’ll live. These shorts are soft and comfortable and also have an adjustable waist.
I love the tropical feel of these last 2. Both girls were digging the birds and the ruffles.

My oldest loves this maxi dress with this tropical feel and actually so do I! It’s nice and cool for these hot July school days and it is just so cute.

Since Friday was school spirit day they had to be decked out in their school pride shirts, but we plan on starting next week being just as stylish.  I hope I can convince them to accessorize a little more.

I am happy we had the chance to shop the sales this year and my new kindergartner could have some more outfits  that fit her personal style rather than all hand me downs.  We start school extra early so I hope we have inspired some mini fashionistas, who are also on a budget!  Happy school year.
