aged terra cotta pots-diy

Its getting warmer and the front porch has been neglected pretty much since Christmas.  So I decided to spruce up, thanks to some outdoor items that were gifted to me and a little Instagram inspiration.
I do not have the gorgous potting bench, or the glass rack but I improvised.
Bought terracotta pots from Walmart and the dollar store.  All together it was probably about $15.  Then I some of them with some milk paint I already had. To distress them I wiped them with a damp cloth and sanded them lightly.
(iphone pic and a little left over breakfast for ya…)

Piled them together and here is my little display.

These chairs used to be in our dining room.  They have been sitting in the garage, without a purpose.  So,  I gave them a new use. I doubt they will stay, but works for now.  Our porch is pretty long so there is a lot of space to play with.

Hope you enjoyed!! If you’re local c’mon over for some sweet tea and porch convo!!
