It’s officially summer and I have changed up the house for summer time! To me summer is red, white and blue, sun and water fun. So I think my house decor reflects that. 
This year I focused all the red, white and blue outside. New addition to the porch is this crib/bench/day bed. I have seen beautiful antique cribs popping up on country style porches and I just love the look. But right not an authentic antique wasn’t available or in budget so I found a Jenny Lind style crib that is doing the trick. I love it! Perfect spot to enjoy the front porch.
I am so excited to style it for all the holidays. I have already changed it up a couple times just for summer 🙂
Here is the opposite side of the porch with the rocking chairs, and a chicken coop that is hanging out here until we have time to make it into a coffee table.
Inside, I am keeping it neutral. I did summer it up with a coastal feel. Especially on the mantel and shelves.
The latern and rope in the vase give a nautical feel. Sea shells and beach talk scream summer to me.

Kitchen looks pretty much the same…Some flowers would be nice. Next photo-shoot. 🙂
