When I decorate for fall it is pretty simple. This year I went even more neutral, and since it is still early fall, I have kept it kind of minimal. Plus I like decorating with real pumpkins and since it is so hot still, we can’t do that. So here is how September looks at our desert dwelling.

Changes on the couch, the browns and whites make me feel more fallish! And of course a comfy throw to curl up under.

Mantle and Shelves
I got that twiggy pumpkin at Goodwill, love the texture..and the bargain! I spray painted the gold pumpkins to go with my gold decor obsession.
Front Entry Sitting area. I am so excited to add the comfort and color of the blanket in the basket. I also think changing to the sweater pillows add to the coziness. It makes me feel like snuggling up, even though it is still so hot outside!
Love the Tobacco Baskets here in the dining area. But I didn’t hang them permanently so I can move them around and use them other places for decor.
