Just wanted to pop in for a quick late summer tour of the house! Hope you enjoy the small changes around here. C’mon inside and see what I’ve got going on.
First up the front porch.
Added this vintage gate to the front porch. It was natural wood for a while, but I decided it would match the porch decor painted white. I used milk paint for the update. We are painting the exterior of our house in November, and I can not WAIT to see it really pop against the new color.
Also moved the potting bench up front.
I am very happy with the decision and it’s getting so much use!

The touches of apples around the room gives me a fall feeling! They are going to tide me over until its time to break out the pumpkins.
Adding more cozy throws gives me a feeling of the seasons changing, even if it is still 100 degrees out in Phoenix!
This year I went with berry colors to bring fall inside. As opposed to traditional yellows, oranges and reds; I think this color scheme stays cozy but is a bit unexpected. I love the way it pops against all my white.
Not many changes in the dining area. The fruit bowl is well stocked with apples always! It is hard to have a tablescape or centerpiece here because it is our main eating area and I have three little ones under 7.
Just added small touches in the kitchen. Carrying the berry colors into here. These faux stems are almost as pretty as the real deal!
Fall also means lots of school projects and art work on the fridge.
Upstairs I am just making these a little more cozy and adding extra throws and some pillow changes.
Hope you will stop by again in October to see some more fall fun!
